Julie Paterson - Interior Designer

With over 20 years experience in the Interior Design industry, Julie uses a wealth of experience and expertise to deliver cohesive design concepts, primarily to the Fitness and Leisure, Hotel and Hospitality and Workplace industries.  

In the Fitness and Leisure division, Julie has worked with a variety of clients in both the public and private sectors, partnering and supporting fitness equipment suppliers in tendering for and successfully winning a range of Design and Build projects across the United Kingdom and Ireland. 

Eleven years with an established Glasgow based interior design company in the roles of Senior Designer and Studio Director, saw Julie specialising in hotel design, working with a variety of established hotel brands, franchisees and independent hoteliers across the UK, from Hilton to IHG and a huge range in between, in addition to completing workplace, care home and hospitality projects. 

Julie has a wealth of experience across all stages of projects from concept to completion, from the initial creation of design concepts, to the preparation of tender submissions, construction drawings and FF&E specifications. Julie is experienced in handling day to day project admin and working with both contractors and the greater design team to implement designs on site, whilst maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring expectations are met and exceeded in the delivery of the finished interiors, no matter the scale of the project. 

In 2019 Julie established Jool Design, using her vast experience and expertise to deliver cohesive design concepts for a wide variety of projects.
